Ways to support children with serial order problems while reading were addressed in Serial Order Difficulties in the During/After Reading Section of this module.  Serial order also shows up most clearly as an issue in children’s writing, and often we can best address it through writing, where the process is slower and more deliberate than in reading.

How do we help children who have difficulty with serial order (reading and writing print from left to right)?
